An in-game event held on-site at Seoul COEX for Pokémon Sports Day 2026. Marill, Metang, Frillish (male), Flabébé (Blue/White Flower), and Rookidee appear in the wild around the COEX area, with event-exclusive Field Research and a free Timed Research available. The Pokémon GO Asia Championship Series 2026 Korea Finals are held at COEX during the same period.
Featured Pokémon
Spawns are limited to the event area (Seoul COEX). If you're lucky, you may encounter Shiny Pokémon.

Tips
Wild spawns and event bonuses apply only around Seoul COEX. Rather than making a special trip, combining the visit with PACS 2026 spectating or other plans is more efficient.
The Timed Research is free and becomes available at 09:00 on May 24. Once received, it can be completed any time before June 3 at 20:00, even after the event ends.
With the Professor transfer bonus active, batch-clearing your COEX catches before leaving the area is the efficient play.
Increased XL Candy rate only triggers on Nice throws or better, for trainers level 31+. Aim for curveball Nice throws when possible.
Shiny Rookidee has been available since the August 2025 Community Day — a good chance for trainers who haven't caught one yet.
