GO Fest 2026: Global celebrates Pokémon GO's 10th anniversary. Free for all Trainers worldwide, with Mythical Pokémon Zeraora debuting through Special Research and Mega Mewtwo X & Y debuting in Super Mega Raids. All 18 types rotate hourly across both days. Free Community Celebrations run in parallel across 26 cities worldwide, including Seoul.

Six event-exclusive costumed Pokémon are featured. • Three Team Hat Pikachu — Instinct (yellow) / Mystic (blue) / Valor (red) • Three Sun Cap starters — Bulbasaur / Charmander / Squirtle wearing Pikachu's Sun Cap All six are Shiny-eligible. Only the Sun Cap starters can evolve — Team Hat Pikachu cannot evolve into Raichu. Specific wild spawn lists for each of the 18 type-themed habitats will be added once Niantic publishes them.

Tips
Event hours run 10 AM–7 PM each day (local time). Bonuses marked "(full day)" apply from midnight to midnight in your local timezone.
The Global event is free — no ticket required for any Trainer.
Special Research does not expire — complete it at your own pace (Professor Willow investigation leading to Zeraora).
Branching Timed Research locks you into one path (Mega Mewtwo X or Y) — choose carefully.
Mewtwo caught from Super Mega Raids unlocks Mega Level 1 automatically (with luck, Mega Level 2 or 3).
Mewtwo caught from Super Mega Raids knows Counter on Saturday (Mega Mewtwo X) or Psystrike on Sunday (Mega Mewtwo Y) — attend both days if you want both moves.
Community Celebrations run 10 AM–7 PM both days in 26 cities (free, no ticket): Seoul, San Francisco, Dallas-Fort Worth, New York City, Atlanta, Vancouver, Hamburg, Barcelona, Bordeaux, Warsaw, Edinburgh, Antwerp, São Paulo, Santiago, Puebla, Lima, Taipei, Tokyo, Miyagi, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Bengaluru, New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangkok, Melbourne. Pop-up booths, photo spots, local Community Ambassadors, and giveaways.
In-person fest attendees (Tokyo/Chicago/Copenhagen) receive bonus Zeraora Candy.
Habitat rotation (6 windows) — Sat: 10–13 Stormfire Peaks (Ice/Electric/Fire), 13–16 Astral Tides (Psychic/Ghost/Water), 16–19 Dragonflight Summit (Flying/Rock/Dragon). Sun: 10–13 Earthforged Domain (Ground/Steel/Normal), 13–16 Verdant Anomaly (Poison/Bug/Grass), 16–19 Twilight Battlefield (Dark/Fairy/Fighting). Specific spawn lists per habitat will be added once Niantic publishes them.
